Production Supervisor

Overview

Responsible in implementing production plan set by the Production Controller. Drives production activities with high efficiency rate and zero-defect products.

Responsible For
  •  Prepare and check all manpower requirements in the section.
  • Drives 5S and Quality Compliance within production line.
  • Based on WPS schedule & parts availability, supervise the preparation of the line for production.
  • Coordinate with the Project Management, Quality Assurance and Logistics Department regarding technical, quality, process, and material problem.
  • Ensure that all tools and facility needed in the production line are checked.
  • Provide all tools and facility needed in the production department.
  • Compute for the manpower requirement needed in the Dept. and request it to the Personnel Dept.
  • Check daily production status and daily efficiency report.
  • Check and regulate line scrap and shrinkages.
  • Check and coordinate with the Line Leader regarding production line problems such as material, manpower, tools, etc.
  • Coordinate with the Maintenance Department Head for the maintenance of all facility.
  • Check and evaluate the performance of Line Leader and operators.
  • Handle training and evaluation of operators and Line Leaders.
  • Supervise the whole production line/area.
  • Recommend subordinates’ incentive to the Manager
  • Serve as middleman between Top Management and operators.
  • Meet daily and weekly production schedule.
  • Ensure that immediate supervisor is well informed on critical production problems and comes up with recommended actions for the improvement of process and product.
  • Review daily production reports, PIR, Shop order
  • Review and sign Audit reports, Corrective Action Report to control any line problem.
  • Implementation of all Corrective Action defined in CAR and SCAR Supplier Corrective Action Report.
  • Prepare and submits Weekly accomplishment report to the Production manager.
  • Attend Weekly Production Schedule meetings
  • Perform other responsibilities that may be delegated by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
Additional Requirements
  • Engineering graduate or equivalent of 10 yrs. experience as Line Leader.
  • Experience
  • At least 5 yrs. experience as Line Leader or related experience
  • Training
  • Awareness and knowledge in QMS Training, Internal Quality Auditor Training, Management Skills, IPC Standards Training, KAIZEN Ladder Training, Computer Training Course
  • Skills
  • Has good management skills, can handle at least 30 people in his/her department, computer literate.
