Pivot-Hawks Manila, Inc. embarked on an enriching visit to Baguio City, a top destination known for its cool climate, scenic landscapes, and rich cultural heritage. This trip provided our team with the perfect opportunity to relax, bond, and explore the famous tourist spots that make Baguio such a beloved destination. Our adventure began with a trip to Camp John Hay, a tranquil retreat nestled in the heart of Baguio. Surrounded by lush pine forests, the cool climate was the perfect backdrop for relaxation and reflection. The team enjoyed peaceful walks and some outdoor activities in this historic and serene location, which continues to be a favorite for both locals and visitors alike.

Next, we ventured to the iconic Lourdes Grotto, a place of spiritual significance and natural beauty. The climb to the grotto was a journey that allowed the team to connect not only with the scenic surroundings but also with a sense of inner peace. The breathtaking views of the city from the top were a reminder of the serene and peaceful atmosphere Baguio is known for. We also had the chance to visit the Igorot Stone Kingdom, an awe-inspiring and unique destination that showcases the intricate stone structures built in the traditional Igorot style. The team marveled at the detailed stone sculptures and the rich cultural history preserved in this open-air museum, which offered a deeper understanding of the region’s indigenous heritage.

A visit to Bell Church provided the team with an opportunity to experience Baguio’s Chinese Filipino heritage. The beautiful architecture, tranquil ambiance, and lush gardens of this temple made it a peaceful stop that allowed everyone to take a moment to reflect and appreciate the cultural diversity of the region. No trip to Baguio would be complete without a visit to a Strawberry Farm. The team had a delightful experience picking fresh strawberries, an iconic activity in the area. The farm’s vibrant fields, combined with the opportunity to sample sweet strawberries right from the source, was an unforgettable highlight of the trip.

Throughout our visit, we also explored local delicacies, such as strawberry taho and ukoy (crispy shrimp fritters), and visited the bustling Baguio Public Market, where we bought fresh produce, handicrafts, and souvenirs. Each stop provided the perfect opportunity for the team to bond, share experiences, and create lasting memories together. This visit to Baguio City was not just an exploration of its beautiful landscapes and historical sites, but also a chance for our team to connect, unwind, and reflect. As we return to work, we carry with us the spirit of collaboration and the lasting memories of an unforgettable trip to the City of Pines. At Pivot-Hawks Manila, Inc. we value experiences that bring our team closer together and allow us to grow both personally and professionally. We look forward to future adventures and continued exploration of the places that inspire creativity and unity within our team.
